Prada Infusion d'Iris was introduces in 2007 as oriental-woodsy fragrance.
The name of this fragrance was inspired by the old method of producing iris extract which took six months of soaking until the sweetly fresh iris notes were extracted.
This modern and elegant fragrance opens with notes of mandarin, galbanum, orange and orange blossom which lead to the heart composed of iris, cedar and vetiver.
The base is composed of incense and benzoin.
The fragrance was captured in an elegant glass bottle reminiscent of retro perfume bottles.

 The perfume was named Infusion de Fleur d`Oranger, and it was created of orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine, with impressions which evoke memories of the original ingredient 'like footprints in sand'.

The fragrance introduces decadent aquarelle of notes from previous editions by the house of Prada - Prada’s Exclusive Scent No. 4 Fleur de Oranger from the selective line introduced in 2003 and Infusion d`Iris (2007). Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger is packed in a characteristic glass bottle of Prada's fragrant line, with black outer carton decorated with green and pink floral print, which had been used on a dress from fall/winter 2003 collection ready-to-wear.

Male companion of the previous edition for women Prada Infusion d'Iris, which was also inspired by this version, was created in cooperation with perfumer of the house of Givaudan.
It was presented in Milan, at fashion show ready to wear, aimed at male population.
The perfume Infusion d'Homme includes notes of neroli from Tunisia, iris palida, vetiver, cedar, incense and benzoin.
The perfumer worked on this composition for years, trying to achieve harmony between style of the house of Prada and balance of the composition.
Just like the version for women, this bottle was designed of heavy, transparent glass, as a modern interpretation of vintage perfumes decanters.

 Prada Pour Homme is the first Prada fragrance, launched after the female one, also in oriental composition based upon amber.

Amber – the main accord, rich and complex oriental base which includes amber, vanilla, labdanum, Tonka and patchouli.

Fougere – or the aromatic accord with a remarkable soapy note, includes notes of pelargonium, vetiver, orange blossom and myrrh at the heart.

Cologne – the refreshing citrusy top of bergamot, mandarin, neroli and cardamom.

Leather – leather note is present at the base of the composition ( leather, saffron and sandalwood).

The fragrance is not aggressive at all, like it might have been expected from an oriental fragrance with leather and amber.
